Mike Boutin,
Host of Cannabis Nation Radio has 35 years of Cannabis use, offering a unique perspective and an epiphany that many will never experience!  Mike Boutin is a highly qualified, passionate advocate and host, often having his views on marijuana printed in the local paper.  In 2008 Mike was invited to be a member of the Trinity County Ad hoc Medical Cannabis Committee, and has worked on medical marijuana issues in the County since.  A year later the same Trinity County Sheriff's Dept. was asked for a reference to a "legal" and best practices "Farm" for an interview by the Los Angeles Times.  They were happy to point to Grace Farm's, a medical marijuana collective in the heart of the Emerald Triangle, ran by Mike Boutin and his wife Tawni. Mike is an active participant in his community who enjoys his occasional visits to Alpen Cellars, also located in the heart of the Emerald Triangle.

Julie Rose
Julie Rose, Co-Host of Cannabis Nation Radio offers a knowledgeable feminine contrast to Mike Boutin. Julie's business background includes a passion for research.  Growing up in a conservative upper mid-west city, marijuana was widely available, and commonly used.  As her work expanded her travel, she met many people from all walks of life, and found the same to be true nationwide. Julie believes the aggressive enforcement of a commonly available non-toxic plant is wrong. After learning about the extensive medicinal benefits, patients receiving free monthly tins of 300 pre-rolled joints from the federal government, and the U.S. Dept. of Health patent, she felt it was time to educate others. Julie Rose and Mike Boutin both feel no patient should ever face jail time for using cannabis to treat health problems, and cannabis should be available to adults for social use as well as nutritional preventive care, as in its fresh raw form it shows enormous potential as a powerful antioxidant without psychoactive effects, when eaten and juiced.
The war on Cannabis and the people who use it is immoral and unjust. It is time for an honest conversation about Marijuana that will help lead the way to ending prohibition of all Cannabis. Cannabis Nation Radio's primary mission is to educate through conversation, giving listeners a platform where they can call-in to discuss local issues relating to marijuana, and learn what others are doing to repeal laws that turn farmers, patients, and ordinary citizens into criminals.  You are not alone.  Listen to Mike Boutin and Julie Rose on Cannabis Nation Radio.
